- April 20th 2021 This post follows a request for information from some farmers who were not getting optimal milk from their cows. As it turns out it is quite common to supplement cows with copper and/or niacin. CopperOne would be the first two in one supplement. This post discusses the role of copper and niacin in milk production.
- April 12th 2021 Niacin is a precursor of NADH/NAD+ of the electron transport chain. We review papers that discuss the role of NAD+ in numerous metabolic pathways that include the longevity sirtuin enzymes.
- April 9th 2021 Multiple sources say that copper supplementation enhances vaccines.
- April 4th 2021 This post describes Coivd-19 variants of concern back in April. The D614G variant is particularly interesting in that it could help the virus become a chronic infection. Maybe.
- March 30th 2021 This post describes outcome measures we had planned for acute Covid-19 infections and whether they would apply to Long Covid. This post is password protected.
- March 25th 2021 Postural orthostatic tachycardia syndrome POTS is observed in Long Covid. This post describes the locus ceruleus, dopamine beta hydrolase and a brilliant study by Henk Lukaski on mean arterial blood pressure in copper deficient young female humans.
- March 18th 2021 A CopperOne customer asked if Cu(I)NA2 would alleviate ALS symptoms if CuASM alleviates ALS symptoms. The password protected answer is we do not know.
- March 5th 2021 This post compares symptoms of Long Covid with acute Covid infections.
- February 1st 2021 This post goes into great detail as to how we analyzed neutrophil to lymphocyte data in our Phase 1 clinical trial.
- January 25th 2021 As a nutraceutical company we use color as a quality control of Cu(I)NA2. This requires a trained eye. This post describes some thoughts on making hte process more reproducible.
- January 19th 2021 This post describes how two different formulations of Cu2+ were used to enhance the immune response of broiler chickens. Implications of Cu+ vs Cu2+ in Covid and Long Covid are presented.
- October 16th 2020 This post is about copper in fungal isoforms of copper super oxide dismutases. This post contains a dog with Valley Fever story that would not be interpreted as medical advice.
- July 19th 2020 This post was created for CopperOne customers who claim benefit to record their symptoms. Then it got turned into a post for Long Covid citizen scientists to record their symptoms.
- July 19th 2020 This post covers the dual role of copper in the interleukin-1 producing inflammasome in turning it on and mitigating resulting oxidative stress.
- July 16th 2020 This post covers the role of the locus ceruleus in ventilation.
